20 year old Henry Searle is one of the most exciting emerging names in British tennis, and he arrives at this year's Championships with real momentum.
The left-hander claimed his maiden ATP Challenger title in Dublin in June 2026, defeating several of the tournament's top seeds to become the youngest grass-court Challenger champion since Alex de Minaur in 2018. Having been awarded a Wimbledon Singles wildcard, the world number 253 will soon get to test his mettle on home turf and will feature as the doubles partner of veteran Dan Evans. Though still early in his ATP journey, Searle is no stranger to success on these courts, having won the Wimbledon Juniors Singles title in 2023 and dropping no sets throughout the entire tournament. With the junior pedigree, grass-court form and a Challenger title under his belt, Searle may yet prove his wildcard well earned.
